The Geosphere

Earth is made up of 4 different the spheres are biosphere, geosphere, atmosphere, and last but not least hydrosphere.  If one of the spheres is not here at all, the spheres will the whole world will be destroyed, so they are very critical.  Today I will be describing the geosphere.

The geosphere is basically the whole entire world it is one of the most important parts but you need them all in their own way if there was no geosphere we would all fall to our death there are four layers to the geosphere crust-mantle inner core, outer core. the geosphere is sediment, rock and soil and that is on the world all the way and under the crust.  it’s burning hot so hot if he went into then you would die burning heat. 

The four layers of the geosphere are the crust, mantle, the inner core and outer core. The oceanic crust is 5 to 10 km thick the continental crust is about 35 to 70 km thick.  The Mantle is longer at 2900 km thick an the outer core is about 2200 km.  the outer core is also is 2900km and has a radius of 3485.

To wrap it all up that’s all you need to know about the geosphere remember if there was no geosphere it'll be a massive problem.

Spheres Gone Wrong

 The lightning cracks like a whip and the thunder make a deafening BOOM!!!  The lighting is tree root going out to grab something in the air.  I can feel the scorching heat of the fire as it crackles and burns many people's souls.  The magma flows down the mountain making it look like cookies and cream ice cream.  The smoke looks like a  wolf howling in the night sky.  I can feel the uncertainty in my gut about if my house will survive or if my family and friends will survive.

The Runners

 

The runners speedily jumped over the wooden obstacle to continue sprinting. They raced each other to the final straight.  Children’s parents cheered loudly as they ran through the squishy mud. The trees are swaying gently in the soft breeze. Runners dug deep for the final straight in the cold the parents and around as they watch their kids. If I was there I would be cold in tired but I feel proud of those people through running in the cold and miserable weather. 

What the future will be in 20 years

 In 20 years I think Apple will make the iPhone 22 and there will be PS16s.  There will be hovering cars and you won't have to go to school every day because you could get school packages sent to your house 5 days a week, Then you have a certain amount of stuff for your day. You will be able to buy teleporting devices and there will be internet modems planted in your brain.  Everything will be touchscreen devices even PCs and consoles.  You can even pay to get amazon and eBay in your brain.  I think you can get sunglasses that look cool and they can project Netflix on to the lenses and you can watch stuff.  Boats will all be gas engines but not normal gas you have to fart into the tank and that fuels the boat.  You can buy garden monitors to check your garden and do your gardening, you can also get other versions like the laundry monitor.  Life on Mars would have been found and some humans are living on Mars.  There will a 300 inch TV with 70 buttons on the remote and 1000 GB.  You do not have to taste your food you can insert it into the chip on the outside of your stomach.  There will be grandaddy shocks from Casio. You can get pens and pencils where you can type what you want to write into it and it writes it for you in neat handwriting. There will be no cases of coronavirus anywhere and you'll be able to travel to every single country.  Planes Will be able to go to 850 km per hour will be the average of all planes and you won't even feel any turbulence. That’s what I think the future will be in 20 years.

It all started at my hotel I was relaxing on my couch watching tv when

‘The lotto numbers are 22, 48, 89, 6 and 73’ said the 8 o’clock lotto show host

‘I WON’ I shouted 

I ran down the stairs in shock and excitement but I tripped on the stairs and let go of the ticket. I speedily got up and chased the ticket, the door to the hotel was open. I thought the ticket was going to go out the door but the breeze pushed it back over my head and into the laundry cart. I turned around and leapt into the cart.  I rummaged through all the laundry to try and find the ticket.  The laundry buggy started to move and I thought I don't think I'll be able to get this ticket back but I felt paper so I grabbed it and I shouted

‘My lotto ticket’

 But the laundry man didn't hear me. I was starting to tip then I realised I'm getting put down a laundry chute  I tried to grab onto the side but the clothes were too damp. I slipped down the chute thinking it would never end but I landed in a big pile of laundry.  I quickly scurried out of the laundry and I walked around and I found a backdoor.  It was very crisp outside. 

‘I wish I would have brought a jumper’ I whispered to myself 

I walked around trying to find where I was and I asked the kind man for directions to the supermarket to check my lotto ticket.

‘Is this where you check your lotto tickets’  I asked a countdown employee?

‘ Yes, right over there’ she said 

‘Thank you’ I  exclaimed while walking away

I scanned the lotto ticket and the Lotto machine said,

‘ I have won, can I have the money, please’ i excitedly asked

‘Really you won?’ she questioned 

‘Yes ‘I said 

‘Wow’ she said 

‘Ok I guess I better give you your money’ she muttered 

‘Yay’ i shouted

Intro actual writing

Have you ever wanted to know how a bank works? Well, I’m here to tell you how.  Banks have been around for thousands of years. For example, the bank is like a massive money holder where men and women work. 

Paragraph 1

Interest, this is the process of profit, this means that you get more money by saving money this is how you earn interest. This is important for you.  When you give the bank money, you get 2% interest back.  This happens when you lend the bank a certain amount of money.  If somebody else borrows it they have to pay 7% of the money they borrowed, the bank gets 5% finally you get 2% of the money.  Your magnificent money should be kept held at the large vault. 

Paragraph 2 

Banks have been around for a long time.  From what I read the first form of banking was in 2000bc.  Back in the day, people used a system called bartering, This was when you gave someone something and they gave you an item of equal value.

I hope this explanation helped you understand how banks work.  If you have any more questions ask your mum and dad and if you have older siblings you can ask them as well.

Mmmmmmm, this cheeseburger is delicious oh didn’t realize you were there I should take you back to the very beginning.  

“Hey, Daniel do you want to get McDonald’s?” Asked Tim 

“Ok,” said Daniel 

“Let’s go then,” Demanded Tim

At  McDonald’s both Tim and Daniel wanted cheeseburgers but there was only one cheeseburger and one fillet,o, fish.  They went into an auction for the cheeseburger it started at 1$ then 2$ then 3$ all the way up to 98$ dollars and Daniel had 1 dollar left and the bid went to 99$ and Daniel was out of money so Tim put one more dollar for fun to make it to 100$ for a cheeseburger. 

“So now you are all caught up with me,” said Tim taking the last bite of his cheeseburger.

When the two boys got home his little sister asked for ten dollars to get new rubbers for school but the two boys were all out of money so they couldn’t give her money.  When Mary didn’t get the money she got furious.

“WHAT DID YOU TO BOZOS SPEND ALL YOUR MONEY ON!!!!!!!” 

“A cheeseburger from McDonald’s,” said the two boys scaredly 

“Wait until mum finds out you idiots will get in so much trouble,” she said furiously.

When mary told mum she was infuriated and demanded the boys to her immediately and it was not a good sight but I will tell you anyway

“TIM what did you do with all your life savings,” said mum

“I spent it at McDonald’s,” he quivered 

“WHY?” shouted mum

“We both wanted a cheeseburger,” said Tim

“both of you to your room now, you are grounded” exclaimed mum

“Here is 10 dollars for your rubbers and an extra 15 for some for food,” mum said to mary

Speech: why schools should send a tennis team to zones.

Intro

Wouldn't you want to play another sport to fill up your time? Well, I’m here to convince you and the school to allow a tennis team to go to tennis zones. This will get kids more active, extra chances to get into a zone team, and lastly, more people will start to want to play tennis for a club.

Idea1: get kids more active

My first idea is tennis will get you more active. If you can't find a fun way to exercise, tennis will be a good way. Being active is good for children because it will have advantages on your body and your mindfulness. If you are thinking that you can just play soccer or cricket, tennis will be easier and less time consuming because you can play whenever you want but with other sports, you need a team to play a game. Another reason tennis is a great sport because you don’t need a mouthguard or boots all you need is a tennis racket.

Idea2: another chance to get into a zone team

Secondly having a tennis team will be another way to get into a zone team. Only a few people get into a zone team and this will bring up another chance to get in a team for those who don’t usually get into zones. This is one of the best reasons, You get the day off school and you can play sports all-day.  

Idea3: more people will start to play tennis 

My final idea is that more people will start to play tennis. This means tennis clubs will get money to pay for things over lockdown and it’s good to support people who run the club. That means if people don’t join the club the coaches will go broke if they don’t get the money they need they cant get electricity, food, and water. Would you want that to happen to you,  probably not so if you don’t want that to happen to them sign up for a  club?

Conclusion 

So I hope I have convinced everyone in this school that tennis is a great sport because this will get kids more active, another chance to get into a zone team and lastly more people will start to want to play tennis for a club. I hope the school allows a tennis team to go to zones.

Science Experiment

Question We were testing to find out which fizzy drinks worst for your teeth.

Prediction  We thought that the egg would bounce and the shell would come off.

Equipment needed Coke, l&P, just juice, water, 4 jars, 4 boiled eggs, 4 measuring cups

Method First you have to prepare all your equipment. Now you put the egg and the soda in a jar.  Then you put the cap on and seal it.

Results/ from most changes to least  Coke: the outside off the shell went brown and a crack went round the outside and it smelt like coca cola.  l&p: the l&P eggshell had a layer that peeled off with your finger and a crack formed and started to rot.   Just juice: the just juice had a smell that was really bad and it had rattan fully . Water: nothing had happened to the egg because water doesn't have sugar or preservatives in it.

Conclusion / Evaluation ‘Sugary drinks should come with warnings from dentists’’ - We agree/disagree with this because we agree that dentists should put ratings on it so fewer people with rotten and unhealthy teeth.

My injury

I was 7 years old at my house in New Zealand.  I was wearing a t-shirt and shorts and some jandals. I was running to my dad’s garage to tell him that lunch was ready.

All of a sudden, I tripped over and my elbow split open on a sharp rock on the concrete and it was really painful and I was screaming.  My parents heard me wailing in pain¨OUCH!!!¨ I said and they came running out and took me inside.  My dad asked¨what happened biff ?¨.

My dad got an alcohol wipe to clean the wound of any rocks.  Then he got a bowl and put some salt and water in it and I  lowered my elbow in the bowl.  It stung so much it felt like I had been shot with a gun.

My mum took me to the doctor to get it checked by an expert.  She said I need to keep a bandage on it for 1 to 2weeks.  After 2 weeks I took the bandage off, and there was an immense scar on my elbow.

In conclusion, my experience was painful and I   know not to buy Warehouse jandals.

Star Wars battle

The soundtrack made me think that I was listening to a Star Wars movie and they are going into battle. The Darkside made gunshots go everywhere on the battlefield trying to hit someone. After that, it sounded like a spy mission in progress with dramatic music played over it. The spies were trying to rescue the master of kung fu the enemies had kidnapped. The music felt mysterious and had a lot of different pitches. In some parts it was high pitch like something dramatic was about to happen and in some parts, it was a low pitch like they had everything under control .

The mighty beast’s roar ferociously as the trees sway to the gentle breeze.  There are all kinds of dinosaurs from the largest to the smallest ancient treasures of the world.

 The lovely crystal clear lake runs through their world we're all the dinosaurs come to take a drink and rehydrate.  You can even see that some dinosaurs are taking a small bath to wash off all the mud that they've been rolling in.  

   

There are a couple of mountains at the back of their land that tower over all of them blocking out the sunlight that the earth needs to grow bushes, But there is enough sunlight to grow some bushes for them to eat off.

 The ginormous Beasts have to fend for themselves and find food to survive. These dinosaurs range from Velociraptors to the  Brontosaurus.

My memorable moment

My Memorable 

3 years ago on my first time crossing the Manukau bar.  The waves were 7 foot high and freezing cold. When we arrived at the fishing spot we baited up all our fishing rods.

I let my rod go down to the bottom to sit on the sea bed then I was just sitting around then zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.  The line as being ripped and started spinning like a formula 1 wheel spinning. When I got to the rod I tightened the drag as hard as I could and the loud noise stopped for a few seconds and then started again. I tried reeling it in but it was too hard so then my dad and my dad’s friend Alex helped.  it worked and the fish was getting closer and closer to the boat. The fish finally came up after 3 hours the fish finally came in. It was a white 6-gill shark.

  I felt amazed how I could get that fish in,  My shoulder was very sore and my dad said ¨jack this fish is about 35 kg good job´.
